My doctor had been advising me to see an exercise physiologist and start undertaking regular exercise for some time. However, due to my condition I am not able to drive, making it difficult for me to get to the the gym. However, since here about Maximise Movements home visits I jumped straight on board and have been loving my weekly sessions with Ben ever since. I have already made some great progress with weight loss and having much better control over my diabetes and blood pressure. I was never a fan of exercise and often felt intimated going to a gym. My diabetes educator recommended that  I start exercising to help control my type 2 diabetes. That is when I was referred to Ben at Maximise Movement Exercise Physiologists. Ben was very welcoming and make me feel comfortable from the beginning, which helped my anxiety about the whole situation greatly. After our initial meeting and assessment I told Ben how I really didn't like gyms. This was when I was very surprised as he told me that we can meet at my house or a park, basically anywhere that I felt more comfortable. Since that day I have been seeing Ben 3 days a week and haven't missed a session . I have lost 15kg and have much better control over my diabetes. I thoroughly enjoy my sessions with Maximise Movement. It is a great local company who support encourage me to achieve my goals . Since starting early in 2018 I have already made good improvements with my strength and balance and maintaining a healthy weight. - John Callack
