We provide allied health services under the following funding:
Rebates
Medicare – Any client with a chronic condition or noted ailment is entitled to Medicare benefits. Medicare offers 5 visits to an allied health professional, for those clients with a chronic condition through an Enhanced Primary Care program. A referral is required from your GP.
Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) – Gold card and White card holders with a chronic condition can access rehabilitative treatment on referral from a GP or a specialist.
NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) – Maximise Movement is registered with the NDIS and can provide physical well-being services to NDIS clients with permanent and severe disability. Our services can be funded by your NDIS package under the Improved Health and Wellbeing Category and the Improved Daily Living Skills Category.
Exercise Physiology services can benefit disabilities such as:
- Muscular Dystrophy
- Paraplegia
- Parkinson’s Disease
- Blindness
- Amputation
- Cerebral Palsy
- Stroke
- Autism
- Deafness
- Muscular Dystrophy
- Brain Injury
- Down Syndrome
- Multiple Sclerosis
- Intellectual Disability
Workcover QLD – At Maximise Movement we provide specific workplace rehabilitation services and our focus is on the worker’s wellbeing and an early return to work.
Private Health Funds – Many private health funds offer rebates for services provided by Exercise Physiologists. No referral needed.
Compulsory Third Party (CTP) Insurance, Income Protection and Life Insurance – Under these schemes you are provided with protection in the event of a motor vehicle accident and time off work due to injury. Through rehabilitation we aim to return you to how you were before the injury or in more serious cases the rehabilitation will focus on developing new skills or new ways of doing things so you can get on with your daily living.
Self Funded – Clients who are not covered in any of the above funds are welcome. No referral needed.
